Sam Cooke - A Change Is Gonna Come (1965)

"A change is gonna come" fue escrita por Sam Cooke como canción de protesta tras los años que se vivian por entonces con la lucha por los derechos civiles de la raza negra, en contra de estos y sus principales manisfestante fueron "Sam Cooke", "Malcom X", "Ali" (siendo amigo del mismo Mohammed Ali), y "Martin Luther King", entre otros. La historia dice que Sam Cooke escuchó la cancion de Bob Dylan "Blowing in the Wind" (tambien cantada por él) y pensó que si un blanco podía escribir algo tan fuerte y sincero porque él no podria. Asi nació "A change is gonna come". Grabada años antes de su muerte y lanzado el disco después de su fallecimiento (asesinato que todavia lleva su misterio).
Sam Cooke fue dueño de una gran voz, considerado el "Rey del Soul", siendo gran influente entre artistas como Ray Charles y Otis Redding. Y de esta forma quiero reconocerlo y recomendando un gran disco como lo es "Live At The Harlem Square Club".
