The Faces - Stay With Me

Si tuviera que recomendar una banda 100% britanica de "rock and roll", que no fueran los Rolling Stones, seria sin duda que The Faces. Una banda con un gran sonido que por estos tiempos escasea, gracias al excelente trabajo de sus integrantes, entre ellos nada más y nada menos que Ron Woods y Rod Stewart, junto con Ronnie Lane, Ian Mc Lagan, y Kenney Jones hicieron historia.
Comenzó con la pequeña fusión de los ex Small Faces integrados por Ronnie, Ian, y Kenney y dos ex The Jeff Beck Group, Ron y Rod. Sus éxitos fueron cuatro discos a puro Rock and Roll, y entre sus éxitos se encuentran Stay With Me, Gasoline Alley, Cut Across Shorty, Had Me A Real Good Time, Maggie May, Miss Judy's Farm, entre otros.
Después de casi 10 años de estar juntos comenzó de a poco su ruptura, motivada por el ascenso en solitario de Rod Stewart, y concluyó definitivamente con la partida de Ron Woods a los Rolling Stones en el año 1975.
Hoy en día se rumorea por el ambiente de la música de que The Faces volveria a los escenarios para realizar su gira despedida que nunca hicieron.
